"On the way to Tuscan, Arizona" I love this prickly pear. It looks so bright and glows on a sunny day. You also get the feeling of strong contrast between the vertical line of road sign and horizontal line of the desert landscape in the background. (negative film, 1998)

Beautiful, I agree with your description of the elements in the picture, the little cactus has a wonderful glow and softness, and the sign post and desert landscape give a contrast of hardness.
