"Another shot of Yale University" I took this shot because I really like the contrast of light and shadow. (Canon 300D, 2005)

A fine series of photos. Often one sees so much more (or at least different things) when the image is B&W.

Yes.. I agree with Ian.. beautiful series of photos here! and yes. we do see things differently in B/W... I do love the contrast of shadows here! I admit I never really thought of how things looked if they were B/W now there is always 2 sides to a photograph.. You have brought so much inspiration to my work, and being that I have just started about 6 months ago.. I learn a lot from you.. I have to refine my B/W skills.. and you bring forth your talent with every shot!

Thanks for your comments on my blog as always.. it means a lot! Take care!

Nice soft and inviting shadows. Makes me want to find a bench and read a good books.

Great contrast on this one. I really love your B&W's, and have a few questions for you. Do you still shoot a lot of film? I'm having a hard time telling if your shooting these with digital, or analog which is awesome.

When you shoot B&W film, do you use and color filters? I've been thinking about experimenting w/ yellow, orange & red filters, but haven't gotten that far yet.

The contrast IS beautiful in this! Makes me want to transfer to Yale just so I can photograph it!

This is just wonderful! I love the contrast and it makes me think of a few architectural shots I took this week which might also look good B&W! Off to see more of your recent shots...
