I think its the grain on on the face that's bothersome. The rest is fine, it makes it look like an old slide or something out of a really old magazine. I like what it does to the water and the other boat in the background. But the face has so much noise that it looks like the light is coming from the wrong direction or something. All in all I like it, because it's timeless, it could be this year or a century ago. >^..^<

Grainy indeed. I'd suggest bumping down the ISO setting on your digi-cam in situations like this.
Slightly to grainy granny for my liking loved the cadilac
Interesting - usually your stuff is so crisp - I like the grain in this. It sorts of adds to the feeling of poverty.
I went through all your posts -- wow, you travel a lot in so little time. Spectacular photos, various cameras -- Are you a journalist or something?
Like the composition and the grain.Kind of ghostly look
A bit scarry! Could see her as a ghost!
I love the composition, but the grain is too much, I think. Anyway, it gives a ghostly look to the photo ;)
I think this one is a bit too grainy for me. Did you add the noise in PS?
