I wasn't familiar with this arch, so I decided to check it out on google. This started out as a wooden arch, but was so successful that a marble version was commissioned and completed in 1895. The original wooden version was built to celebrate the Centennial of Washington's inauguration. I love the perspective and intricate details.

Really well exposed, its hard to get the sky aswell as the great detail in the arch. Great photo.

I really like this exposure and composition. You have all the detail in the clouds and the architecture, and I like the crop and amount of sky vs. structure...great balance in both.
