I flew over the grand canyon once! I actually got a pretty great shot from the airplane. I imagine it is a gazillion times more amazing being there, than flying over...
I went to both places and i agree wt David, seeing in person was a great experience. my photo doesn't giving the sense of scale, and how big they are:-)
Cor blimey as they might say in Mary Popins version of London. This is some view. I prefeer this to the other version the framing suits the square format well. The background hills look like they are made from velvet.

i've never seen the grand canyon in b&w - nice!
To see the Grand Canyon is on my to do list before I die. Impressive!
WOW. It must be an impressive place. The background seems to be a painting, like in old western movies...
What a beautiful shot! I love the mistiness... an amazing place.

One of these days I'll make it there...
makes me want to go there
I'm really impressed with how much you travel. You really have seen the world.
I would equate the grand canyon to yosemite. The pictures are amazing, but still nothing like being there in person.
WOW, This is absolutely gorgeous. I rarely shoot landscapes in B&W, I may have to re-think that.
