I love the blue tint to this one. Not so sure about the brightness on the trees, but snow is so hard to work with. Her black coat makes the shot work, though. It sort of balances the glare.

You know that feeling when someone asks you what melancholia means and it's one of those days when you know exactly what to say but the right words fail to come out from your mouth? This is it. This picture pretty much expresses that feeling. Maybe because I have always associated sadness with snow. But the irony of it all is that, in reality, I have never even experienced winter or see snow for real. Now isn't that sad?! hehe.

Post script: I really like the blue tone and the shimmer. Most of all, I am enjoying the presence of that single soul that is (somewhat) giving warmth to this image.

Wow, I love that tone. The trees are sublime. I like how they fade almost into white is some areas.
