do you get that certain feeling when you appreciate the image (so much) but you can't expound on it? this is one of those days. i like every aspect of this image, the way you've utilized three layers : the tree, the buildings, and the sea...to depict a certain musing? overlooking the city...that's how i see it. As the audience, I am supposed to be under that tree looking at the city. The sunlight was of course a big help to get that nice silhoutte. Just perfect, hehe!

Well done b&w. A beautiful skyline, the tones in the sky, the sun backlighting the tree, much to admire here.

Beautiful. Really beautiful. And the dark tones of the trees and the contrasts in the sky come out really well. Tranquility at it's best! Excellent work!

Love the silhouette of the tree with the city at the rear. You have shown a nice mix of nature and the industrial world..cheers :)

hmm...looks familiar. But I'm not sure if I've been here. Is this the largest pond on Central Park that is used for a reservoir?

The picture seems to be ominously quiet. Nice composition.
