Oh, I think this is a rare time when I like the colour version better. It just seems to bring out the shadows and light better. Wonderful capture.

you've really managed to retain such great details, wow, amazing BW treatment.

cool rustic effect with this one. I like the fact that the bridge in the backround looks totally different from what's in the front, almost like it's two different types of film.

another very good B&w processsed shot with great scenery. u have mastered this type of scene shots.

Great composition, and interesting processing, you seem to have gained alot of contrast in the foreground. Nicely Done :)

The guy seems to be in two minds, whether to call the cops or not.

like the detail on the phone & the expression on the guys face! cheers ;)

I don't know about this. I prefer the coloured version. Did you intend to photograph the bridge or the phone? I would move more to the left and have the brige taking more space for the foreground, that's how I see it. :)

I am a B&W man, however in this image, the colour brings more into this image. The monochrome just makes it look drab. Switch and place the colour version top front quick :)

Look on the guys face makes me laugh, you snapping me it says :)

I really like the perspective in this one, and I think I like a little bit more the colour version, I would never have guessed the wonderul yellow colour of the Emergency Box:)
The guy looks like thinking "what is going on here?" hehe :)

I think I prefer the colour version, there seems to be more contrast in the shadows to the right of the guy in the colour version. Maybe if you upped the contrast a little, as there seems to be a lot of mid tones in this image.

Wonderful! Love the shadows from the bridge, and this foreground object is so interesting. I like how the guy turned back to look when you took this shot.

great expression:

you lookin' at me?

Ha! Love the look on that guy's face!

excellent shot, I like the bridge shadows and the guy expression.

Interesting shot. On your blog your work on B&W is both an austere and beautiful exercice... I appreciate it a lot.

The extensive view of the bridge and beyond the bridge is wonderful. NYC is a wonderful city.

Beautiful tones of B&W.Great atmosphere of a pulp tale: D. Hammett, Chandler, Mac Coy. A misterious movie."The young person turned the head, had discovered to Me, then I compute the range until the telephone of the police. To the bottom the bridge, the cloudy sky... Somebody waiting for the other side of the telephone..."

Nice shot, like the help point phone but wonder if it works and how long the police take to respond?

Nice composition. Color version is also great, with that strong yellow...and without croping. I don't know which I like most...
