I like them both! The pink looks so delicate against the blue sky, you just want to taste them, like they were strawberry ice cream. But the b&w is where you really can focus on the play of light and shadow. Very nice!
its long long time i saw the spring, yeah...yesterday we have beautiful spring for the first time this year, and today its snowing....grrr but, your photos makes me feel like its spring outside :)
I like both versions, but the black and white gives off a lot more emotion for me. Either shot, though, is great. I like the highlights you present in the BW version. Regards, Brent
you have osme great work here - the body of work is has a great quality to it - I like that you take predominantly BW pictures - I reallly like the manhatten bridge post
B&W really creates this certain feeling one cannot get with colored photo. I dunno, but I kept looking the colored version and this one and they totally create a separate emotion. The one in B&W has a dreamy-feel to it, very artistic if you know what I mean. It leaves a certain mystery like, I keep thinking what the color of the flower might be. Whereas in the colored version...it's pink that's it. Well, it's just my stupid thinking talking again. I haven't been here for awhile so that explains it. Have i told you, this blog feels homey? It's like I belong here...the images you portray here are the closest thing possible. And they say, in photography, everything is just an approximation of everthing that is 'real'.

It worked fine in B&W till i saw the colour version. Blossom then daffodils then tulips then......I love winter.
I prefer the color version! I miss those gorgeous colors in the b&w version!
BEAUTIFUL !
Beautiful image!
lovely light halos, makes this image feel very "light" to me, very evocative of spring.

So lovely! They seem to be glowing.
I think I'm with Keith, the black and white is great, but I prefer the color. Cool shot!
when i shoot flowers i never convert to b&w, today U have thought me otherwise, very nice
Thanks for showing us both the b&w and the color version. I actually prefer the one with colors - they are just so vibrant!
I think that the colors version is very nice, but your b&w is really great.

I love the pink, but the b/w is a stonger photo.
One of those few shot where on can actually say, I really do not know which I prefer, however, since I am a monochrome man, the monochrome wins.
Lovbe the way the light sort of hits the top of the flower.
Good good capture.

I prefer this b&W. Wind of shades, they seem to dance the flowers.
Very beautiful! :)
The B&W is really nice but I truly enjoyed the color one;)

Nice flower shots! Lovely tones. Flower shots only attracts me when the background is in b/w. Good work. ;)
It's a beautiful shot. Great DOF. I'm partial to the colour version, but both are lovely photos.
Absolutely splendid....i am speechless!
This has a glowing dreamy quality about it producing in B & W the sensation which you get of the colours in real life ...a really good shot.
Nice spring shot
They look like shining. great composition. I like the contrast with the sky.
