Your love for NY can be seen throught these snaps...This particular snap has wonderful perspective..The fluffy clouds add texture and the wide angle enhances the horizon..The reflections of the posts on the water look nice..Somehow bnw seems to add a classical look to all yr snaps!
...you could have tried not to include the building at the extreme left.

Like all your shots - WOW.Your B&W cityscapes are always awesome - this being no exception. You always seem to get that 'grandish' feeling - this one especially due to those overpowering clouds.

I agree with anoop you have a stunning collection of NYC pictures. Maybe you should look for a publisher or an Art Gallery...

Great shot, looks a bit like you've used HDR on this, I'm not sure, probably not.

I really like the contrast between the foreground and distant background subjects.

Looks like most of the boats are out cruisin'...must have been a great day for boating!

Fantastic post! I love the clouds.

I love the orderliness (is that a word?) of the foreground jetties contrasting with the ragged texture of the sky. Great detail throughout, nice one.

Fantastic sky! The tone in this is perfect for this shot, I really love the straight lines formed by the jetty.

Song of Hudson Harbor:)
I would like to pass the night in Hudson Harbor and to see dawn while I have lunch in aHudson Harbor's bar to remember the mornings when you were returning to the home then to fall asleep remembering the dawns in Hudson Harbor.

A rather strong image you managed to compose there. Very neat alignment of uh... lines. Oh and look, the pier mirrors the horizon lines! Yup, me likey.

Lovely shot. Would have darkened it a tad bit, I know I am such a dark person :) Suby. Nice nice capture

I like the composition. The clouds give depth to the picture. I like there are no boats in the foreground, so the photo is not too...stuffy?
