loving that quasi-hdr feel of the bridge in the background...even though the shot seems pointless (no offence) u still manage to captivate me....7.75/10
Wow! what a nice shot!! I guess is at the Brookyn side. I agreed with Photo-effe, looks like Europe. Congratulations for your way to capture great angles with a lot of photographic sensibility.
Tena koe ehoa Wonderful composition and framing with the wall left and the fenceline right. It narrows the perspective of the initial viewing eye into the image. I like the abruptness of the alternate perspective created by the bridge in the background as a contrasting perspective as well. The over exposed sky works well to defined both structures of compositional value and perspective.
I realise the nature of your/this blog but, is there a colour version of this image to be found somewhere pt? The collection of textures from brick, steel, wood, wire and nature are good in this image but I feel they would be more emphatic and impactual in colour. If there is a colour version please direct me to it, otherwise it is my loss. Either way this is wonderful urban photography!

Wow. Looks like an amazing place for pictures. B&W was a great choice for this one!
Strange. It looks quite run down. I would expect the area around Brooklyn Bridge to be a prime piece of real estate!
cool shot, fantastic point of view. great bw :)
excellent shot; nice to see something like this still exists in NY.
Interesting composition!
I always think of the south when I think tobacco. But of course it had to be distributed nationwide. Great old building!
Finally, a different view of the Brooklyn Bridge.
I love old buildings.
You're a lot like me. You like to get to the places so close, and yet so far from how things are seen. I love this shot very much.
